| Altech says No to overpriced Prism Following Net1’s matching of Altech’s bid price of 116 cents per Prism share, Altech has decided to withdraw its proposed bid for Prism which was announced on 24 February 2006. Net1 had obtained from certain Prism shareholders undertakings to accept its original offer of 102 cents per share. | Altech secures major deal Allied Technologies Limited (“Altech”) today announced that it has acquired a controlling interest in three subsidiaries of Kenya’s Sameer ICT group for US $85.2 million (approximately R650 million).
